Running > Not Running

running should make it all better
I started out the day waking up next to my loving husband and happy that neither he nor I had to rush off to work (he didn't have to be in at work until four o'clock). It is always nice to be able to enjoy a little time together since we are both go-go-go all the time. The Trainer (my husband, as I will refer to him on this blog), had a webinar to watch for work at 11. I took this as a chance to hit the treadmill.
The treadmill and I have not been on the best of terms lately. We used to be the best of friends, a daily 4-5 mile run was my morning norm. Then the stress set it and running wasn't as fun for me. Not today! I grabbed my magazines, my iPhone and headphones and hit that bad boy - hard! I ran 6.2 miles in 65 minutes. Not the greatest of times, I know, but it is good for someone carrying 20 lbs of stress (literally) on her stomach and thighs. I felt good afterwards. Like I achieved something I needed to. Running is always greater than not running.
This blog will be about me, my life, my pursuit for happiness through running, my love of baking and cooking, my search for a more fulfilling career. It will probably involve a lot of stories about my husband and our dog, since they are both my world. It may not be as exciting as other blogs, but I will do my best to try to keep your attention. :)
Do you ever wonder how life came to be so rushed? What do you try to do for yourself every day?
